Murdoch University Village

Murdoch University Village nestled in quiet idyllic bush land away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Adventure World theme park is a mere 5 minute drive and white sandy beaches are just 15 minutes away.

Murdoch University Village is conveniently located on the door step of the University, where all the resources of the university are a hop skip and jump away.

The village is made up of 98 self-contained flats all designed to suit the landscape set in three-hectares of picturesque grounds and gardens for all guests to enjoy.

And that it’s only a short walking distance to the Kardinya Park and Winthrop shopping centers, where there is a wide range of shops, restaurants and services. A short 20 min trip into town and you can experience what Perth CBD has to offer or check out Fremantle only 10 minutes away for some delicious seafood over a stunning sunset. There is a lot to do in and around Perth including wine tours through the Swan Valley, beautiful beaches for surfing and bathing and the infamous Fremantle Prison.

The village offers two intimate Meeting Rooms seating 15 people. Catering can be arranged upon request.

These areas are shared by all guests and can also be made available for private functions. Shared spaces are ideal for registrations or a chill out area where groups can watch a movie, play games, conduct group activities or relax with a book and a cup of coffee. Shared spaces equipped with a variety of technology, a pool table, games, music and furniture for your enjoyment.

The village has table tennis facilities available for your group to use. A friendly, yet slightly competitive game of table tennis is always great fun. Our staff can assist you with your booking.

The courts are available for individual use and for group competitions or leisure games. Our friendly staff can assist you with your booking.

The village basket ball area is a great way to have some team fun and shoot a few hoops.

BBQs can be arranged for your group upon request. We have set menus or can customise a menu for your group.

Within the village there is a laundry that is coin operated. The Laundry can be accessed by day and night and entry is only available to guest via security access.

business centre

The Business Centre is equipped with a variety of technology and has computers set up in an ergonomically sound environment for your enjoyment. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is accessible by security access to all village guests upon request.

internet

Broadband Internet can be accessed from most of the village rooms or from the on-site Business Centre. The village staff will assist you with all your internet requirements.

Murdoch University Village consists of apartment blocks spread across three-hectares of landscaped grounds with a range of accommodation options, fully furnished 8 bedroom units with a large kitchen area for self catering are ideal for conference groups or backpackers. The 5 bedroom units would suit a family or groups of friends who prefer a little more privacy and freedom.

eight bedroom apartments

Eight bedroom apartments contain living, dining and kitchen facilities shared by the eight guests.
Each apartment has two bathrooms shared amongst the eight guests.
Each apartment has its own balcony area, with outdoor furniture accessible via a separate sliding door.
Two fully upholstered two-seater lounges, an armchair, coffee table, TV, dining table and eight dining chairs are all provided within the apartment.
Individual bedrooms are lockable and contain a queen bed and a -single bed, desk, large wardrobe, set of drawers.
Basic crockery is provided
Each apartment has security key access.
