Sydney University Village is located at 90 Carillon Avenue Newtown, one of Sydney's most eclectic suburbs, offering a diverse range of boutique fashion stores, live music, theatre, galleries and some of Sydney’s best restaurants. A 15 minute drive north and you will find yourself at beautiful Sydney Harbour. The facade of the Village and the Hub, where reception is located, directly faces Carillon Avenue, overlooking the prestigious University of Sydney.

The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre superbly located on the waterfront in Sydney's most popular visitor precinct, Darling Harbour, is a short 10 minute drive from the Village. You will find a number of local attractions including the Power House Museum, Maritime Museum, Aquarium, Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre and bars and restaurants all within a short walking distance from one another.

getting around

Sydney University Village is located on the door step of Sydney University and is approximately a 5 minute drive from Central Station and 20 minutes from Sydney Domestic and International airports. The Village has bus and train stations nearby. A 15 minute bus trip takes you directly into the city centre.

parking

There is a Secure Parking station located in the RPAH Medical Centre on the corner of Carillon & Missenden Roads. Sydney University Village surrounds the RPAH Medical Centre so it is a great location to park your car then stroll across to our function rooms.

We have a negotiated rate of $6 per car per day for conference delegates parking in the Secure Parking station while staying at Sydney University Village. Overnight parking can be arranged upon request.
